**Home **

A home is a good place to spend time with your family. It might not be the best place ever but it is a place you can call your own. To me my home is one of my happy places. A home is where you can have a good, long sleep. If you didn't have a home, you wouldn't have a room to sleep in to have a good sleep. You would have to sleep on a sidewalk or with one of your friends at their house, but would you want that? A home is where you can play with your friends, family and cousins in your living room or basement. If you didn’t have a home, you wouldn’t have a space to play with your toys. Would you like to play on a sidewalk by yourself with no toys? You may have fun at first, but then you would get bored because you’d be alone and have no toys to play with. A home is where you can make fresh food in your kitchen and help yourself to snacks. If you didn't have a home how would you make fresh food or have snacks? A home is a good place where you can have parties and feel happy around people. But if you didn't have a home you might not have fun. A home is a good place to feel safe without having to worry about killers or kidnappers. If you didn't have a home, how can you feel safe when you're outside and have no place to go? If you don't have a home, you can easily get kidnapped or killed in your sleep. And you wouldn't want that to happen right? If you didn't have a home but your friend did, if they always talk about how amazing their house is, how would you feel? Would you feel embarrassed and ashamed that you didn’t have a house? Always be grateful for the house you have. Big, small, huge or a normal size. You should always be happy for the type of house your parents can afford. A house isn't for flexing or showing off, a house is a place to spend time with your family, a place to make memories and a place for love.
