Things I Love About My Home

I love my home because I feel comfortable in it. My favourite place in my house is my basement because that's the place I always am. When I walk into my house and I see my dad sitting on my couch watching tv I feel like I’m at home. I always see my dog wagging her tail waiting for me at the door, she wants to play ball. I feel happy! When I start to walk inside I hear the birds chirping in my backyard. When I get inside I hear my dad saying “Hey bud how was your day?” When I get in my house I hear my dog barking and scratching the door. As I walk inside I can smell food cooking in the oven and I ask what we are having for dinner. I can smell a fresh lit candle and every day it’s a new scent. I can smell the fresh grass when I go and play ball with my dog outside. I am always hungry, so I go to the pantry and get some cookies. They are so good. I go to the fridge and get some milk for the cookies. Milk and cookies are so good! Just sometimes I can have some chips, when I'm gaming. It’s a treat! I love the grip on my baseball bat, it feels soft and comfortable. I go downstairs and play on my xbox and I use a controller, the controller has a good grip. I love the feel of my soccer ball when I play in my backyard. This is my home using all 5 senses! It is my favourite place to be!
