A Place We Call Home

Everyone should have a home because home feels welcoming. When you walk in the door you feel happy and safe. There are many things that make a home complete: Kindness. In your home you should be kind and be treated with kindness. You could help your mom and dad out with housework and they could help with school work. Relax. In your home you can smell the buttery popcorn for a movie night. You can sit on the couch with your family watching a movie and all you hear is laughing. Warm. In your home you can lay in bed with your new fuzzy, soft blanket and stuffy as you fall asleep. Food. In your home you can wake up to the smell of fresh pancakes. Fun. In your home you can play with your sister outside on the trampoline and take turns doing flips. Happiness. In your home your mom and dad ask how your day was and your dog jumps on you. Giving you lots of kisses. You can take your dog for a long walk in the farmer’s field and watch her bounce around in the snow. Sports. In your home you can get ready to go play soccer and see all of your friends. You can play hard and try to score a goal. I am thankful that I have a wonderful home. I wish the same for everyone.
