The Possibilities

Home is a place where memories grow and die. My mom and dad moved into a house not knowing that it would turn into a home. My sister and I added a pop of color to our home when we were born. A house is a building with walls and a roof with no memories. Home is a place where you can cry into a pillow because you got bullied, but always remember that the objects in your house have feelings too so your pillow will always be dry so you can have a fresh cry. Rooms get smaller every time you paint them so be certain if you want to make any changes. The handprints on the door frame after all those years of jumping. The fights between my sister and I that lie in these walls. The zipline I will forever love. The tv room warm and cozy on a bone chilling Saturday morning. The room I grew up in green and colorful now basic and modern. The enchanted trees that I would climb down from when I scrape my knee. To me home is a world of endless possibilities.
