Sweet Sweet Home

“Why do you think we need a home, not just a house?”, she asks me. I answer: “To have a place to return to, a place with a key.” I feel for the people, the ones that have it harder, No place to go home to, no place to be. And earth is home to more than human beings, So we need to remember all of our teachings, From the First Nations stories, They tell us of all creatures’ feelings. There should be a word to describe this, When you return to the place you miss, That feeling of home-coming, The overwhelming bliss. We all have a need for a home.
