Meaning of Home

There is a significant difference between a house and a home. A house is just a roof and walls. You do not know much about that house. There is nothing special to you about it. That house to someone else could be home. A home is a place where you have laughed and made memories in. Somewhere where you have grown up and have lived for a long time. A place you know much about and is special to you. It has a special place in your heart. Your home is where you are surrounded by all your belongings and family. You should feel safe and loved in your home. It is your own. A house is the opposite of some of these things. If you do not have a home, do not worry, Habitat for Humanity can make one your own. You can have and enjoy a beautiful home. Everyone should have a home. Everyone should have that special place to feel safe in. Homes are for everyone.
