A Book About Home

Home is a library filled with books. Those books have genres that you’re interested in. However, there’s a book that feels different from the other books. The book has a bronze hardcover. It doesn’t have a title at all. Inside the book is full of writing. You decide to read the book. The first chapter is relaxation. Home is where you can relax after a day of school! You can sit on the couch and watch TV. Maybe you might play video games or take a nap. On the right page, there’s drawings. Then, you flip the page. The second chapter is Imagination. Home is a world where we can use our imagination! You can imagine that there’s a jungle full of trees. There’d be a bright sun shimmering on a lake. On the other page, there’s a picture. You flip the page. The third chapter is creativity. Home is where we can use our creativity! You’d scribble on paper or create something with materials you have. You can make different creations! Then, there’s a picture of a treehouse creation. You flip onto the next page. The last chapter is feelings. Sometimes you may feel sorrowful, angry, scared, or other emotions. But, home won’t make you feel horrible and will comfort you. On the left page, there’s drawings of different emotions. You flip to the next page. At the end of the book, there’s a note with writing. It says, “When we think of home, it seems to make us smile. Our homes are where we all belong with our loving families. We wrote an essay or a poem by heart. Everyone deserves a home and we did this to help. We also want to thank Habitat For Humanity! I am grateful for my home!”
