House or Home

House or Home I see hundreds of houses every day but what is a home? Well I am going to explain to you what a home is to me. To me a home is family.A home is where my siblings play. A home is where my friends and I hang. A home means safety. A home means friends. A home means memories that never end. A home means first steps, first smiles, laughter and so much more. A home means messes that need cleaning.A home means faces that need washing. A home means extra loud noises that hurt everybody's ears. A home is a house on the outside but it’s what’s on the inside that makes it a home. Here are some things that make my house a home. My family makes my house a home. My pet makes my house a home. The love in my house makes it a home. My sibling’s loud noises make my house a home. A shower running, dog barking, siblings playing, music going, washer washing, and dryer drying make my house a home. Oh, and I could never forget when my younger sisters wrestle me! When they finally let me go I’m full of lumps, bumps and bruises everywhere. By the way, my younger sisters are 8 and 4. When my little sisters are calm, they're both pretty sweet. That is what makes my house a home. THE END. By: Heidi . Leslie . Martin
