Our Home

I never had a home that was just right. Some are too big. Some are too small. Some are too short. Some are too tall. Some have too many windows and some have none. One day I was walking down Baseline road and I saw a lovely house for sale. It was not too big, not too small, not too tall and not too short. It was just right! The house had three windows which would be perfect for mom, dad and I. "Just right!" mom yells. Dad agrees, "I think it's perfect". We all check it out and knock on the door. There is no response. "There is a doorbell" said dad, "I will ring the bell". Dad reached for the doorbell, DING DONG. An old lady opened the door, "how can I help you?" the lady said in a very soft voice. "Well" dad said "this house is for sale, can we know more about it?". "Oh yes, come in for tea and we can chat" said the old lady. We stepped into the house and it was perfect. After a couple of days mom, dad and I lived in the house as well. This house is now our HOME!
