The Place I Feel Safe

The Place I Feel Safe By Faith Wood. Home is the place where I feel the safest, when I'm at home I feel safe and protected. Home to me is the place where I have my bed where I sleep, the place where I can bathe and shower to be calm. The place I call home is where I can be myself. My home is my safe place. I always love to be home more than anywhere else. I have two homes: my mom and my dad. I call them both home because where my parents are is where I feel safe and protected. The reason I feel safe wherever my parents are is because my parents make me feel safe and loved. I call home the place I feel supported and loved. My home is my favorite place because I feel safe and calm.At my home I feel that I'm not pressured and I feel I can be myself. The place I call home is where I can laugh and have fun with my family. The place I call home is where I can relax and watch my TV without being bothered. I feel safe at home because I do fun things to make me happy. I feel safe at home because at night my parents lock the doors and let the fire go out. I feel safe when our fire is out at night because I get nervous that the house will catch on fire and I get paranoid. I have a dog named Buddy and he sleeps with me every night. I feel safe when he sleeps with me because he is protecting me. When my parents stay up until I fall asleep, it makes me feel safe. I am very happy to be writing this because I love talking about my home and my safe place. I call it my home because it is where I can use the bathroom without getting nervous that someone will walk in. At home I feel . comfortable and loved. That is the meaning of home to me.
