I Have A Home

When I sat down to write a poem About the place that I call home, I squiggled and squirmed and got stressed out, Because I had no idea what to write about. Kitchen: Family; Food; Games. Woodstove: Warmth; Flicker; Flames; Landing: Legos; Cousins; Reading; Play. Basement: Drumming; Office; Workshop; Sleigh. These few things help make my home. And I feel for those who are all alone. For unlike those, who are stressed beyond doubt, I don’t have much to be stressed about.
