What Home Feels Like

What does home feel like for you? Well home to me feels like this Love, love is a big part of my home no matter what, I know I will feel loved. Like for example if my mom cleans the whole house and I go mess it up I will still feel loved. No matter how much I scare my sister I will still feel loved. So, I know I am loved. Oh, and this is my favourite... when I come home from a really rough day from school to a nice bowl of soup, so comfort food is a big thing in my house that brings me to smells. Imagine this, walk through your front door and you smell your favourite cookie. Just imagine that...also the smell of my own pillow, my bed and my room are special. Also, something I really like .about my house is that you can be who you are. Like my room is my favourite place in my house because my mom and dad let me express myself. One of my favourite things to hear in my home is music because it can be relaxing, calming, crazy, sad or happy. Another big one is the compassion that happens. For example I come in my room sad then my dad won't leave my room until he knows what’s wrong or how he can help. When my brother pranks me, I will feel compassion from him. These things make up my home. What makes up your home? So, my wish is for kids like me and you to have peace and a home where they can feel love, comfortable and compassion and they can really be who they are. That’s my wish for kids around the world.
