What Does Home Mean To Me?

What does home mean to me? To me, home means a place where the people you love can spend time together. Home doesn’t have to be in a house. What makes home, home is the idea of any place where you can for example, come home from work or school and be comfortable an relax. In early December last year, I did a fundraiser and raised money for the Kingston homeless shelter and bought tarps, toothpaste and toothbrushes, handwarmers, gloves and socks an when we dropped them off I realized that there are so many families who don’t have homes and everyone needs a place to call home. Home is an amazing place to be. Home can be a place to spend quality time with your family or it can be somewhere that you can cool down and relax by yourself if you want, whatever you choose, home can be a place for many things. Everyone should get the chance to call somewhere a home, not necessarily a house or mansion or apartment or anything in particular, but somewhere that is filled with love. That’s what home means to me.
