Meaning of Home

Meaning Of Home Home is like a desk, every drawer filled with different emotions. Home is filled with every emotion. In your home you can experience many emotions. You can feel positive emotions such as love, comfort, and happiness or you can feel negative emotions like sadness, anger and fear. You may feel love in your home when you get a hug from your parents , or a kiss from your dog. You may feel happiness when you get the birthday present you've been waiting for. You may feel comfort when you are snuggled in bed deep in your covers. Just like you can feel positive feelings you can also feel negative ones. You can feel sadness when it's bedtime and you can't stay up longer. You can feel anger in your home when your parents won't let you eat another cookie or you can't get your way. You can feel fear when you hear strange noises in the middle of the night. What about people who are homeless? What emotions do they feel? They probably experience more negative emotions than positive ones. I personally think that they would feel sad because they don't have a home to call their own. They would probably feel fear because they don't know if they're going to eat, drink, or where they're going to sleep. Home is all feelings. Hopefully in your home you feel more positive than negative ones! “There's no place like home” -Dorthy, Wizard of Oz
