A Homes' Proud Paragraph

A Homes Proud Paragraph By: Aaron Simon The Meaning of homes isn’t just the house. It’s what resides inside the house. The people, the nature, the items! Not the four walls, the things that are inside those four walls. Your home is a place of family, fun, hope, confidence. It's a calm space where our troubles melt away. Music can be found there, happiness can be found there, hope can be found there. A house is a place that was previously owned in my opinion. A home though is a place that is new that you created. In a nutshell: A home is a place that was once old, that you made new. Love is one of the main components of a home. A home is made out of love for your family, shelter, and happiness. It may be a place that you’ve decorated or changed several times, but it will always be a home to you. Plants can be found there, nature can be found there. A place you love is a home, a place you rarely use is a house. A few good questions I have though are: Is a cottage a home? Can a houseboat be a home? Is a place like overnight camp a home? A cottage can be a home if you adjust to it, but it’s a place that you don’t go to often, even if you own it. A cottage, in my opinion, is a home. It’s full of tokens of your adventures through the woods, it's full of plants and nature, and it’s made of wood, which is nature! It has beds where you sleep, it has paintings that you painted, it even has board games and food! So, a cottage is a home. A houseboat though is a house. It’s a place previous people have used, it’s a place other people have prepared for you. And, it’s a place where your stuff resides for a couple of days. You're able to see the stars of an island but that doesn’t make it a home. You park the boat on an island and you just sit there. There aren’t any walls there. Hope can be found in a houseboat though. It’s a place where you and your family can bond. But it’s not a place you own. So, in my opinion, a houseboat is a, well, a house. An overnight camp though isn’t home. It’s not even a house. It’s a place that you and people you probably don’t even know share. Other people you don't know to serve you food, other people you don’t know to make you do things. You don’t really have a decision to make. You spend a few months there then you leave with everyone else. So, in my opinion, an overnight camp is not a home, nor a house. You need to have a free opinion and speech in your home. The meaning of a home is the fact that you and your family love it there and you play, write, create, and listen to music there. You love your home, and that's what makes it a home. I believe that homes are a sanctuary of bonding and love, hope and excitement, creativity and family. That, that is a home. Not a house, a home. Home……..is where the heart is.
