Meaning Of Home

Meaning of Home. BY ZOE COWLING ? If you come to my home, you will see a happy family, a mom who’s always gardening, a dad who will be parked in the driveway because he is back with milkshakes from the Courtney bakery. An annoying little brother who will be yelling at his gaming console. Plus, a dog named Minnie chasing 4 chickens, Drumstick, Bawkolli, Chicklet, and Angry bird, around the yard. And me, enjoying the diversity and quirks of my family. If you come inside my house, you will find a warm bed with fluffed pillows and a silky duvet. A warm cup of hot cocoa waiting for me at the kitchen table. A big chunky plush toy in my bed waiting for snuggles. At my home, smells will be wafting through the air; freshly baked homemade muffins with melted chocolate chips. Along with my dog’s farts, stinky, but comforting. And a disintegrated bath bomb thrown in the tub, with some bubble bath, waiting to be used. At my home, there is a tub as warm as the sun on your back in the Summer. A plate of cookies sweeter than the sensation of sweet justice and revenge. A family waiting to hug you as soon as you get home no matter how small the family. My home may not be perfect, but I love it just the same. THANKS FOR READING!!!!!!!! -ZOE COWLING
