What Home Means to Me

Home is sweatpants. Home is quality time. Home is delicious meals. Home is a very lovely location! To me, home is shabby sweatpants splattered with food. In my home, I feel comfortable wearing clothes that I certainly wouldn’t wear in public. I also feel comfortable talking to my parents. What I mean by that is, if I get into an argument with someone and I’m very vexed, I’ll talk to them about it, since I know they’ll try their very best to comfort and console me (while I’m in my sweatpants, of course, because no one should expect me to wear actual clothes at home, especially when I’m greatly grumpy). My home is all about laughing, loving and living our best lives together. I absolutely adore spending time with my family. We walk my cute, fluffy dog Wookie together, we play entertaining board games together, we read superb books together and much, much more. My family spends a truckload of time together, especially my dog. She always stays in whatever room the majority of my family is in. She likes quality time as much as anyone else in my family, although she’s not too big on snuggling. Home is warm, steaming meals made with love. My parents make me lots of scrumptious meals like soup, stew, steak and a ton of other foods, too. I can see the steam rising from those delectable dishes, but not only because they’re hot like magma. The tasty foods boil and bubble with the care and affection my parents make the meals with. They put a lot of effort into making me feel happy, loved and appreciated. Home is comfort, home is family, and most importantly, home is love. Home is my very favourite place to be.
