What home means to me

Home to me is different from a house. To me a house is just a building with walls, furniture and more structural things. But a home is much much more, a home is a place where family comes together and makes memories. Home is a place where you can feel safe and welcome. Home to me is also not even a building, it could be just a place in general. Home could mean where you grew up, or just where you lived for a while. Home means somewhere where you feel at peace, and where you feel loved. A house and a home could still be the same thing though. A home is where family makes memories, and family could make memories in a house. Like on holidays and birthdays. To me a home means much more than a building. That’s what home means to me.
