Amazing Homes

Are you grateful for your home? I am. A home can be anything or anywhere. It could be in the country or a city. It could be in an apartment or a teepee. To me, home means family and friends. Without family and friends, a home is just a house. A home is not a home without memories. In my home, laughter is a part of making memories. Memories start with family. To me, family means love. My whole entire family loves me. I love my family because they provide shelter and food and love. We also have fun together all the time in our home. For example, one time we were playing hide-and-seek and everybody was found except me. I was laughing to myself because I had thought that they had given up trying to find me. Another time, I dressed up one of my cats called Mickey. He was wearing a doll skirt on his head and my headband on his stomach and toy headphones around his neck. One reason that I love my family is because they support me for what I like to do and sometimes they will help me. To me, friends come very close to family and making a house a home. In my life, friends mean someone to play with. My home is filled with memories of making friends and playing with them. I like to call my friends and help my friends. Friendship also means someone to laugh with and help you do the things you love to do. In the summertime, at my home, my friends will come over and we love to play on the rope swing. Another example of friendship is playing Marco Polo in our pool while using funny voices. One time, my friends and I jumped into the freezing cold pool for five bucks each! Friends also mean someone to cheer me up when I’m sad. Friends are amazing because they are always there to help you and play with you and cheer you up. Friendship is all around my home. Home can mean a lot to anyone. I chose to talk about family and friends because they are very important things to me. The pets in my home are like family members too. We all make memories together. Home is one of the best things in my life and it can be yours too. Are family and friends special in your life?
