My Meaning of Home

Home is where you feel the most comfortable, where you don’t have to worry about anything happening. A house could be an apartment or just a place where you live by yourself and don’t feel safe. Home is where you live permanently in that location. House means a building in which someone lives. Home can mean a building, a house, a complex, anything really. When you say, “Let’s go home,” you are probably not talking simply about going to the physical structure where you live. You are talking about being in the special place where you feel most comfortable and that belongs to you. When I was about five years old I lived in a building and was in a different school. I lived there for years and then moved to Vanier Drive. I had to switch schools and make new friends. But as soon as I moved to my house I had already made new friends with a kid which was really cool. I made many more friends in Rockway and had so much fun with them. I immediately liked my new school and house way more than my old one. Moving was better than I expected it to be though I do miss my old friends. On some special occasions my mom cooks a huge meal for my family. She cooks all sorts of things but personally my favourite is when she makes lasagna. Her lasagna is very good because of the beef and the taste. My second favorite food is pizza. Her pizza is so good. She makes it from scratch and after it is done it is amazing. It is so cheesy, hot and delicious.
