The meaning of home

Could you imagine being on the streets, in the forests, or an alley at night? Well, 1 in 8 Canadians experience that they don’t have a good affordable home to live in. That’s why home is a special place to me. My kitten wakes me up in the morning, it wouldn’t be home without him. I have breakfast. My family is waiting for me, making me happy as can be. It's time for school, my friends are waiting for me. They don’t mind if I am late. When I finish school, my kitten’s waiting at the door, but I know he just wants to see me. Home isn’t just a house, to have a home means to have people you love. Why isn’t it just some walls, ceiling and furniture isn’t home to me. Home to me is my family.
