A Home is Not a House

A Home Not A House Simranne Riyat Grade 5 Sathya Sai School Toronto To me, a home is not only something you live in but a part of your family. Today I will be explaining what a home is in my opinion. A home is something that can be anywhere, a place full of memories, and a big part of your life. Firstly, a home can be anywhere and anything, from a restaurant or an apartment, or even a swimming pool. In fact, any place that you love and makes you feel warm and joyful is like a home. In the same way, people who don’t have a house can maybe have another place to go, like a restaurant that will feel like a home to them because they feel safe and happy there. So to conclude, a home can be anything from a house to a pool to a car. Next, a home is a place full of memories. For example, say you had a white Christmas and you had a wonderful time with friends over, that becomes a memorable part of your home. So in the end, your home keeps memories and moments special. Similarly, your home becomes a part of your life. For instance, you lived in your home for 10 years, when it's time to move it's going to be hard because you have had a wonderful time at home and it grows on you. Altogether, a home becomes a part of your life. To summarize, a home is not a house. A home can be anywhere and anything, is full of memories, and becomes a part of your life. So home is not a house. It is somewhere where you feel safe and happy.
