Home

What home means to me is hard to put into words but I will try my best. If home was a location I could say my home is Canada maybe even Saskatchewan or I could get really specific and say that my home is on Forest Gate Road in the R.M of Paddockwood. The more I narrow it down the more comfort I feel. My home is a place where memories are made and games are played and I can’t think of any better place to be than home. Home is a place where I can be me, and be with my family. Home would not have such a great feeling if it was not for the house we live in together. Our house makes up the one roof and four walls we live within which was built by my parents, it has lots of windows to let the sun shine in and colourful walls that make me happy. Most of all it is our safe haven. It keeps us warm and comfortable and gives me the feeling of belonging as soon as I walk in the door. I’m lucky to have a house and to call it my home where others are not so lucky. My hope in writing this essay would be so that some other family could be as lucky as I am and get a house to turn it into their home.
