Why People Need a Home

Homes are like the center of a family. Homes allow for families to enjoy each other's time. Everyone deserves a home to live in with their family. Home is a safe place to go. In a home you and any one you're with should feel protected. Homes are warm in winter and cold in summer so you're comfortable. Your home is where you’re welcomed and loved by friends and family. A home is a place where you belong and can be yourself. Homes are places where you can rest up for the next big day. The way a home sounds is just as important as it feels. Home is a place quiet but can also be loud. Homes are always better when filled with laughter and smiles. Home is where families have fun and have arguments but always love each other in the end. A home can also sound of playful pets and children running around. Home is a place full of smells. Homes that are taken care of smell clean. People who enjoy baking have houses that smell of fresh treats. Dirty clothes, pets and cleaning supplies are all scents in homes. The common thing is that home is a scent that everyone enjoys. Without a house, many people never get the chance to enjoy the things we take for granted. Countless people are homeless and can’t afford shelter to live in. So, it's our job to help them as best we can.
