What Home Means

My home is where life begins. Waking up to the quiet house in the morning, going to bed in the loudness of my house at night. My house is where I play mini sticks with my brothers and friends in the afternoon, and wake up in the morning to walk to the hockey rink and go have fun with my friends on ice. In the summer I go biking with my friends all day long and then in the afternoons I go to baseball and soccer. Sometimes we go camping with friends and family, go on the pond on kayaks and canoes in the morning and we have fires in the night, roasting juicy marshmallows over the fire, it's just like a second home. Over Christmas break when my family is over, we all get together having a blast opening gifts and giving gifts, everyone laughing and playing and the smell of all my mom’s baked goods fills the air with the tasty smell, it's just the best home I could ask for and I’m very grateful that I get to live there.
