Home is Not a Building

I think home is not a building because just being with family and reminiscing on memories makes me feel at home. Making memories makes home more welcoming and connected with everyone including yourself. When I think of home I think of the of the smell of my mom's cooking and baking. I hear the TV that I am watching. I taste cat hair, and I feel my cat Artemis who is snuggling me, and I see my family. I also think home is a feeling because is not just somewhere you eat and sleep it is where love shimmers and shines like the sun in the sky. When I am at home, I feel joy, grateful, laughter, encouraged and most of all belonged. I hope the whole world gets experience this feeling. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity for giving people this chance.
