Harper’s Home

Harper had many houses but none of them felt like home. Her first house was a shiny beach house with shells on the curtains. Inside, she could always smell the sea water crashing against the shore. Yet it did not feel like home because they only stayed there for a night and left in the morning. Her second house was one in the mountains. But due to her parents fighting every other night, this house did not feel safe. Her third house was old, creaky, and cracked. She stayed in that house for years, but it never felt quite right. Her real home was and will always be the big oak tree. With its light green leaves swaying on the branches and the gentle breeze of freshly cut grass blowing throughout them. This is her forever safe space. Based on pure imagination
