The Meaning of Home

My home is a safe place because I know when I go home I am not alone. My home makes me feel comfort and love from knowing that I have a roof and bed to sleep on. When I see my home I see a place where my emotions flow. I see a place where I can talk freely without being judged. My home is a place where I feel love as warm as a glove. I feel kindness and happiness that will wrap me up as soft and warm as a blanket. When I walk into my home I smell pretty flowers and peppermint. My home smells welcoming when there is dinner on the stove. In my home I can taste the sweetness and saltiness of a warm fresh meal. I can taste healthy nutritious food that will make me strong. In my home I can hear happiness and my family moving and talking around me. At my home I don't hear yelling or crying. I don't feel crowds or rough clothing. My home is my favourite place. My home is what love is. My home is safe and everyone deserves a safe warm loving home.
