A Place with Love

Home is love, laughter, despair, confusion, frustration, and disapproval. Those emotions are the foundation of home, without it, a home is merely a house where people live. A house can be simple or extravagant, however as long as it is filled with feelings it becomes a home that weaves a family together. Everyday, I wake up in the morning and I sense the surroundings. Piles of books, a snug, comfortable blanket, and a lovely mom who sacrifices important things just to provide me love. Ingredients and delicious meals are provided for me everyday like I take it for granted but when I see children begging for food on the streets I remember it wasn’t me who bought a lovely home or paid for the meals, it was my parents. They could’ve just given me enough food for a day and put up a roof over top of me. They didn’t because they were in hardships before and didn’t want me to experience it too. It is also an area where I can express myself with no judgmental eyes on me. It’s like flowing paint, where I can express my emotions and opinions. It lets me feel accepted from concealed and unseen people. I perceive the vibrant red paint pouring onto my polished canvas and obscured eyes of the impartial people. I sense the pleasant sensation of the glossy paint on my unkempt hands. The plunge of the paint and swish of the hazy water are undoubtedly the finest music of art. Never have I felt the tenderness of love without humans. The finished product of an art piece and a home are linked. Not like a sculpture that needs to be criticized. Quote: The most beautiful things in life are not just things.
