My Home in Newfoundland
My home isn't a building with walls and a roof, It’s where I live in Newfoundland and Labrador.
My home in Newfoundland is great, almost perfect but we all know nothing is perfect, like the time I went to Gander, I wasn't feeling well but I still pulled through the days I was there.
My first swim meet was in January at Gander. I can not lie, it was scary, but my friends were there to support me all the way. Newfoundland is also a safe place where I can swim with my friends in CBS BlueFins competitive swimming. Swimming also brings me joy and happiness, especially when I swim with my best friends.
Newfoundland is also the place where I go to school. Most people might disagree but I like going to school because when I go to school I feel happy, I don’t know why I like going to school but it makes me feel safe either way.
My home is the place where me and my family laugh about things that happen that day or we cry about our hardships, because my home is a safe place where me and all belong. It is also where my dad cooks homemade meals, which taste and smell really good.
Newfoundland is where my home is, and I know it will always be there for me, even if I move away to another place my home will follow me anywhere I’ll go.
