My Home

My house is not a place, it's a home. My favourite part of my home is my downstairs family room because me and my family like to watch movies and sometimes we eat popcorn and sometimes we eat supper, like nachos or my dad’s homemade pizza. One time when I was about 4 or 5, my mom and dad got me and my sister a cat. His name is Sam. He is about 5 or 6 years old. I like to play with them.He likes to play with his toys. Sometimes he goes crazy. He is so funny and cute. There is no home without a bedroom. I like when my sister has a sleepover in my bed and we like to watch TV. Sometimes we watch wrestling. One time we stayed up too late and my mom was not happy. Then we had a laugh attack when we laughed into my pillow. I can't live without a kitchen. My kitchen is more than a place to make food or to do the dishes. It's a place to make new foods and to try new foods and to talk about your day. For example, when it was my birthday my dad made steak and twice baked potato. It was delicious and that birthday is one that I will never forget! Another time my friends were at my house for my birthday party and they shoved my face in the cupcakes and I laughed so hard. These are my favorite rooms in my house but it's not the rooms that are special, it's the memories and moments that are made in each room. This is my house but not just a house it's a home.
