Home to me

Although you may know you have a house doesn’t mean you have a home. A home is the memories with your sisters in the summer.Once one leaves it’s such a bummer. A home is where you miss your mother when she’s away, you miss her so much every day. Even though she’s with you when you wake. A home is not a place, it is a feeling that you can’t lose and can’t choose.Or is it who you choose to make you feel better not light as a feather but so much better. You always have a home, but not always a house.A house can be quiet as a mouse but not a single one there. A home is not a place to stay but it is a feeling that whispers you’re okay. A house is just walls and doors, and ceilings, windows, or shiny floors. You’re safe to stay and lay all day but yet you’ll probably still stay awake. Not every house is safe to stay you’re scared to sleep every day. A home can not be taken, but a house is just what you stay in. A home is the feeling you get when you see your family for the first time in a while. You know that they can always make you smile.Even when you're feeling low you know they will always show.A home is not a house it’s the feeling deep inside, A place my heart will always guide. Thank you so much to Habitat for Humanity for helping people get what they need and I am so happy that just this little class can help so much with just entering. Words:251 Gavyn sixth grade.
