What does home mean to me?

To me, a home is a place where I can relax, lie down and recharge. Home is also a place where I feel safe and loved. Home is where I play video games and do what I want to do. Home is unlike school because at school I have to follow so many more rules. Another thing is home means everything to me. If I didn't have a home, I would be living on the street and that would not be good and I would be very sad. Home is also like a family member so that means I have five family members: my parents, brother and my house. In my house, I sleep quietly, comfortably and peacefully. I feel lucky to have a home and I think everyone deserves the feeling of having a home to sleep under a protective roof and feel safe. A home is more than just a structure. It's a place to make memories, take photos and most importantly be with family. My father had to leave Canada because he didn't have much money so he moved somewhere else for 20 years because it was more affordable. He was very upset because he did NOT want to leave Canada because it was his home and it is the place where he was born and raised for 10 years. My home is a place to make memories, have fun, laugh and be lazy. I don't have to listen to anyone but my parents of course. In conclusion, these are the reasons why I love my home soooooooo much! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else other than my warm and safe home.
