What Does Home Mean to Me?
A lot of people think that home is just a place that shelters you and keeps you warm in the winter. It's true it does but there's a real meaning behind the word home. But the word house does mean somewhere that's made out of bricks and that shelters you, but in my heart there is a difference. Home is where I find loving and caring people such as my family and friends. It's where I'm accepted to be whoever I want to be.
I love being in my home on those snowy days drinking some hot cacao. I feel comfortable being around people who love me. We have the best memories together, since I was little. When you walk through the doors of your house it doesn't mean it feels like home. Home can be on vacation or a field trip. The only way you can feel at home is with your loved ones.
At home we play games and have lots of fun. It's also a cozy place, don't you just love that feeling when someone wraps their arms around! And when you get tucked into your comfy blankets. Well I don't know about you but I love that feeling. My home is my home and no one will change that!
