My home is a place that I can run to
when I’m feeling down, sad, or blue.
It’s a place to think, laugh, or mingle
and with my friends, we often giggle.
In my little, tiny dorm
I always feel safe and warm.
My family and I gather ’round the fire
to sing lovely songs, but after I’m tired
I slump upstairs and climb into bed
to cuddle up to my little bear Ted.
My hair will probably be in knots
but no matter what, I dream happy thoughts.
Everyday I wake up to a day that is new,
I love my home, I hope you do too.
