What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me

Home is welcoming because my family is there, when I need them they are there and nowhere else.
My home has a kitchen where I can find food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and sometimes even dessert. Dessert makes me feel lucky when it comes out of the kitchen. It makes me feel lucky because it tastes really good and I know there are some families that don’t get it.
My home is a place where my dog also lives. My dog keeps me company. My dog also likes to sleep in my bed. I enjoy this because I can cuddle with her.
My house is relaxing, I can relax in my bed, and lie on the couch to watch TV. I can also lie on my couch and sleep. I can sit on my chair and read a book when I am bored. In my bed I can close my eyes and go to sleep, because I know I have a sturdy roof over my head.
Home is safe because I know that no strangers or insects will be there to scare me. I also know that no wild animals will be in my room.
I like my home because it is our families’ and no one else’s.
