What home means to me

I love my home because I am loved by my family and my cat. I like to play at the playground across the street almost every day with my friends and my brother. I go over to my Nana and Gramps’ house a lot and they have a dog and two cats. I play with the animals every time I go to their house and I love it there. Sometimes I visit my Grandpa and Grandma in Ontario. They don’t have any pets but that is okay. Visiting my grandparents feels like home as well because they love me.
My home means a lot to me because I feel safe there. People aren’t the only ones who need homes, animals do too. Once, I donated $100 to the Humane Society to help the animals. I have my own room at my house. I like to spend time in my room because I have games and stuffed animals and toys but the one thing I like most about my room is the corner by my bed called “CAT CORNER”! It is my favourite place because my cat, Nutmeg, sleeps there with me every night at bedtime. My cat loves me so much that she sticks to me like glue. She follows me everywhere I go. I love her and she loves me. I always want my home to have an animal in it. That is what home means to me.
