What Home Means To Me
Home is a very unique place to me. Sometimes I think about people in the world who don’t have a home. Sometimes when I go to the city to watch a baseball game I look out my car window and see people who don’t have a home.
Once when we were walking back to the car after a game, we saw a person using sticks and a garbage can to play the drums and raise money. I put a 5 dollar bill in his money bucket and he gave me a high five. That made me feel good because I did something nice for another person.
My family and I are very lucky to have a home with a lot of food, water, and things to play with in it. Sometimes I think about people who don’t have those things. I am very fortunate to have those things in my home.
Home is where you show thanks, like at Thanksgiving.I wonder what people without a home are thankful for.
Home is where my bed is. I can sleep peacefully at night, because I have nothing to worry about. I am very lucky to have a home with a comfortable bed in it
I feel safe in my home because we are very lucky to live in a country that is not at war. My uncle Hamid used to live in a country that is at war. my grandma helped him, and is family come over to Saskatoon.
One of the most valuable things in my home are pictures because they show happy times I spend with my family. Pictures also show times we can’t always remember. We all need to be more considerate and think about people that don’t have a home.
