The Meaning of Home-Poem

A home is a place where memories are made,
A home is a place where games are played,
A home is a place of dreams and wonder,
A place where you hide from monsters and thunder.

A house is made of some wood and glue,
A house is not even made by you.
A house is built with a hammer and nails,
A place where you hear some screams and wails.

A home is a place where you celebrate,
A home is a place where imagination is great,
A home is a place where if you have a flu,
A family comes and takes care of you.

A house is a place where the water flows,
A house is a place where danger never goes,
A house is a place that there’s a warm bed,
A place at night to rest your head.

A home is a place where you’re the best you,
A home is a place where your thinking shines through,
A home is a place where you come home each day,
A place where you’re accepted in every way.

A home doesn’t even need to be a building. It’s just a place where you feel comfortable expressing your feelings and thoughts, a place where you have people who support you, a place that makes you feel warm inside, a place where people don’t make fun or laugh at who you are or what you do.

That is what home should be,
That is what home means to me.
