The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home

Home is very special to me. I love my home very, very much. I am very, very lucky to have a home, because a lot of people do not have a home. Home gives me shelter when I need it like when it is raining or snowing or the weather is just bad. One time it was pouring rain, my home protected me from the storm. I felt very lucky, because I knew some people did not have a home to be dry in like me. Family is at home most of the time like mom dad and my brother and sometimes on holidays my grandparents. One time my throat did not feel so good, it hurt so, so much. So my mom made some tea but then it was so hot I could not drink it so she put some ice in it. I felt much, much better. That shows that my family cares. When I am at home I feel safe (Well, more safe than other places). One time when I was little I was scared of a TV show. My mom just kept telling me it is not real. That’s how my family helps me if I am scared. A lot of people have homes, but some people do not and we have to help those people, but people need to remember this that people with homes are the same as people without homes. Some people think that they need to stay away from people without homes but that is not true. For me “there is no place like home “, and I hope that everyone has a home one day.
