The Meaning of Home

Home is way more than a whole lot of screws and bolts. Home is where my pets and family are, it is where I feel loved and safe and it is where I learned many important lessons.

Home is where my pets are my friends. When I’m hurt my cat our dog comes and makes me feel better. When I go on a walk my pets make me feel safe. Home is where I get to spend time with my pets.

Home is where I feel safe and loved. My mom and dad are there to protect me. When I get hurt my mom and dad come and help me and asks if I’m ok. Home is where I feel safe. There is always someone to talk about the good and bad. Home is my safe place.

Home is where I learned many important lessons. Its where I learned to love my brothers and sister. It is also where I learned to read and tie my shoes. I also learned how to ride my bike. Home is a place to grow and learn.

There are so many people without homes. That is why the Meaning of Home contest is so great. I could not imagine how it would feel without a home.
