The meaning of Home

The meaning of Home.

I never really stopped to think about the meaning of home,
until now. To me, home is a shelter, ready to protect me. It
will keep me safe during a storm.

But a home is much much more. In my home, I feel loved,
happy and healthy. When I am feeling sad, I know there is always someone in my home who will make me feel better.

A home is forever a part of me, even if I leave it. I still
sometimes ask my Mom if we can drive by my old house. It
is special to me.

People who are homeless must feel miserable, because I
don’t know what I would do without a home. Deep down, we
all deserve a home.

Just knowing that you have a home to go to at the end of the day to
have meals or sit by a fire, can really make someone’s day.

So walk a mile in someone else’s shoes. Someone who
doesn’t have a home to go to at the end of the day, and think about how
they feel.

But the most important thing about home,
is that it keeps me safe.
