The Difference Between a Home and a House
The difference between a home and a house for me is that home is a place of love, joy, comfort relaxation, excitement, honesty, friendship and family. At home you can be yourself, you can be anyone you want to be. Does everyone have a home? No, but Habitat for Humanity is working to change that. But what is a house. A house is nothing like a home. A house is simply some walls, a roof and windows. However, a house is also a shelter from storms, cold weather and rain but a home is a shelter from loneliness and boredom. I’m blessed to have both. I am sheltered in a house but also loved and cared for because I am part of a home.
