Home is not just a place where you live. It’s where you’re welcome and appreciated. If you live somewhere it doesn’t make it your home. A home must feel safe and comfortable, somewhere you trust. You don’t need to own anything to have a home having a home means to have somewhere to go when you’re upset, or hurt. But, home is also the people who make it home. Your family, friends and community who create a home where you live. A home must have a community that you feel safe in. This means that your community helps you when you’re hurt and help you up not push you down. When I think of home I think of all of this.
