A Home Is . . .

A home is a place where you are loved. A home is a place where you don’t have to worry about being judged. A home is a place where you can be you!
Many people take their home for granted. They just think of it as a shelter they live and sleep in. But people who don’t have a home or a shelter, well, they would do anything to get a home. People who have a home don’t always realize how fortunate they are. I get so sad when I see someone wandering the street with a sign that says things like “Need money for food”. One day, I want to build a home or give some money to a homeless person.
I hope that one day the government will notice all the people on the street and stop asking for money and start giving some money to people who are less fortunate.
A home is a place that should not be taken for granted. The clothes you wear should not be taken for granted. I hope that one day people will open their eyes, look around and realize that there is a real problem. A problem that should not be ignored.
A home is a place that is peaceful and relaxing. A place where you are loved and accepted.
